Bangladesh vs West Indies, Day 1: Hasan, Mahmudullah lead hosts to 365/8
Abul Hasan has become just the fourth ever batsman to score a Test century while batting at number 10. Together with Mahmudullah, the southpaw has led to an amazing turnaround on the opening day of the second Test against West Indies. The pair has added 172 runs for the ninth wicket guiding their team out of troubled waters

Abul Hasan and Mahmudullah have struck an unbeaten century stand that has helped the home side recover after losing eight wickets at the score of 193. Hasan led the late charge with an aggressive fifty hitting 11 boundaries and two sixes in his score of 74 runs. For West Indies, right-arm pacer Fiedel Edwards has taken five wickets while captain Darren Sammy has two scalps to his name.

Bangladesh lost the wicket of Nazimuddin early in their innings before Nafees and Iqbal began some repair work. The stand lasted for 59 runs before Darren West Indian skipper Darren Sammy removed Shahriar Nafees and Tamim Iqbal to give his team an upper hand in the opening day of the second Test.
The second Test between Bangladesh and West Indies has begun in Khulna. Mushfiqur Rahim won the toss and chose to bat first. The home team would be looking to win the second and final Test to level the two-match series.
