There’s a “big” Nokia event tomorrow, but just like every other unveiling, this one too has been rained upon courtesy leaks. Apparently Nokia is planning on announcing the Lumia 625, their first Windows Phone 8 device that will sport a 4.7 inch display. The phone will be unveiled tomorrow at an event in London, but the full spec-sheet has already leaked online.

The Lumia 625 will have a large 4.7 inch IPS panel for a screen with a resolution of 800x480 pixels (roughly 200 ppi). The screen is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 2 and has a curved display design. Nokia’s even throwing in the Super Sensitive Touch feature, which should allow you to use the phone even with gloves on. The phone will also sport a 4G radio, for anyone who feels that 3G just isn’t enough Gs.

As far as internals go, the phone has a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor and 512MB of RAM. It will also have 8GB of internal storage, along with the option of expansion using a MicroSD card with up to 64 GB of storage. As far as connectivity goes, it will also have the standard Bluetooth 4.0 + LE, WLAN IEE 802.11 b/g/n, A-GPS and Glonass support, along with a USB2.0 port.
Lastly, the Lumia 625’s rear camera is a 5 megapixel shooter, with the front camera being a measly VGA type. All this is powered by a 2000mAh battery.

The Lumia 625 doesn’t look to be a flagship device, but instead something Nokia’s trying to position in the mid-tier. We’re expecting this to be priced rather competitively, seeing how that’s the approach Nokia has taken with their other Lumia phones just as the Lumia 720 and the Lumia 520. At this point though, the pricing is purely conjecture and we’ll get the definitive answer when the phone is officially unveiled by the Finnish company tomorrow.

Nokia Has made a windows tablet review.

Nokia-made Windows tablet spotted in the wild:
At first, it was only rumoured in words and artist sketches, but this time, we have some actual photos of the perpetrator.

The internet has become home to more leaks than your bathroom sink, but these are the leaks we all love! This time, it’s an alleged Nokia Windows RT tablet that has posed for the camera. The leak comes courtesy of WPCentral Forums, where a user has posted a pair of images of the tablets along with some specs.

According to the post, the specs on the tablet read as follows: Tegra 3 1.3Ghz processor, 2GB RAM, HDMI-OUT, USB Port, SIM Slot, 16point touchscreen, running Windows RT. The specifications on the tablet seem to be a little dated, with most tablets nowadays already running the Tegra 3 processor, it would seem like this could have been an earlier prototype.

The rumours of a Nokia branded tablet have been around for quite some time, with two potential announcement dates also being hypothesized, but we’ve had nothing so far. All we know from various rumours is that Nokia is indeed working on a Windows 8 tablet, but there is no confirmation on whether it will actually make it to production, and if it does, there is no word on when that will be.

The windows platform has become somewhat of a mainstay and lifeline of both Microsoft AND Nokia, albeit for different reasons. While Nokia has been reporting good sales numbers for their Lumia handsets, it nearly isn’t enough to put the company back in the serious greens. A tablet, if done well, could be another step towards restoring Nokia’s older glory days, but till that happens, we’re just going to keep ourselves satisfied with the Lumia 1020 that launches on the 11th of July in New York.

New Nokia Lumia 1020 Review.

Nokia Lumia 1020 leaked ahead of New York launch
Nokia Lumia 1020 is 41Mp smartphone with Pro Cam app

Previously thought to be the Lumia EOS, the Lumia 1020 has been leaked by evleaks prior to next week's press event in New York. The render shows the Lumia 1020 for AT&T sporting Windows Phone 8. See also: Group test: what's the best Windows phone?

The Lumia 1020 will be arriving with a 41Mp rear facing PureView camera and a Carl Zeiss lens similar to that of the Nokia 808 PureView. This can been leaked and essentially confirmed by Nokia itself with its '41 million reasons' blog post on the event.

Unfortunately is seems the smartphone looks almost identical to previous models such as the Lumia 920 and Lumia 925. It's round the back that the device looks different with the huge camera strapped on.

The leaked render shows the inclusion of a Nokia Pro Cam app which is believed to offer 11x digital zoom, anti-shake, and manual focus features. This makes sense as you're going to want to control that impressive camera properly.
With advanced camera technology the Nokia Lumia 1020 will take on devices such as Samsung's Galaxy S4 Zoom which is the only 'smartphone' with optical zoom.

Supposed specifications for the Lumia 1020 include an OLED screen with a 768x1280 resolution, 32GB of internal storage, no microSD card slot, a polycarbonate body.

We'll be bringing you live coverage of next week's Nokia event in New York so stay tuned for all the news, specs, release date, price and features for the Lumia
