You should also have antivirus software installed on your computer .It provides the secure environment for your files,folders of your system.We will learn about the security center in detail.

1. Click the start button.The start menu appears.
2. Click the control Panel option in the right pane of the start menu. A control panel windows appear.
   
3. Click on the Network and internet option in the control panel window.A control Panel window for Network and Internet appears.
   
4. Click on the Internet Options.The Internet properties dialog box appears.
5. Click the connection Tab.
6. Click on the Setup button under the connections tab.The Connect to the Internet windows appear.
7. Click on the setup a new connection anyway.The Connect to the Internet window re-appears with the name of the Internet Connection method subscribe by you.
8. Click on the desired Internet connection method.The Connect to the Internet window for entering information from Internet Service Provider(ISP) appears .
9. Type the user name provided by your ISP in the User name text box.
10. Type the password provided by your ISP beside the password options.
11. Click on connect button.

Now ,the internet connection has been set up in your computer.
